Curried Turkey On Toast Recipe

Ingredients

 
2 tablespoons Chicken Stock
 
2 tablespoons whole wheat flour
 
1 teaspoon curry powder (preferably Madras)
 
1 1/4 cups skim milk
 
1 cup peas
 
1 1/2 cups diced, cooked turkey
 
4 slices whole-grain bread, toasted

Directions

Place the stock, flour, and curry in a large skillet and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, for about 2 minutes.
Add the milk and stir until combined.
Add the peas and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer about 2 minutes.
