| Coriander | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Cayenne pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Ginger | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Cinnamon | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Turmeric | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Sweet potatoes | 7 | |
| Water or vegetable stock-5 cups | ||
Directions
MAKING
1.Pick a kettle, add oil and saute the onions and garlic till soft.
2.Add the spices and stir to release the fragrance.
3.Add the sweet potatoes now,and water. Let simmer till potatoes can be pierced with a knife.
4 Pour this into a blender and blitz.Ensure no lumps remain
5.Return the soup to the kettle, cook till warm.
6.Check for seasoning.Add more cayenne pepper if needed
SERVING
7.Serve hot with lemon juice for tartness, if so desired
