Curried Spareribs Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 pounds pork spareribs, cut into 2-rib portions | ||
| 2/3 cup unsweetened grapefruit juice | ||
| Brown sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cornstarch | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Curry powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ground allspice | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
Directions
1. Arrange spareribs in large open roasting pan in one layer. Roast spareribs in 325°F. oven 1 1/2. hours or until fork-tender.
2. Meanwhile, in 1-quart saucepan over medium heat, heat grapefruit juice and remaining ingredients to boiling; cook 1 minute, stirring.
3. During last 30 minutes of roasting time, brush ribs frequently with mixture.
