Classic Curried Pork Recipe
Ingredients
| All purpose flour | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Ground ginger | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 2 pounds lean pork, cut into 1-inch cubes | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Curry powder | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Chili powder | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Onions | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Green peppers | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| 2 cups hot bouillon or water | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Combine flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, and ginger.
Coat pork with this mixture.
Brown on all sides in hot butter, stirring occasionally.
Stir in curry and chili powder.
Add onions, green peppers, and bouillon.
Simmer, covered, for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours, or until pork is tender, stirring occasionally.
