Curried Onions and Cucumber Recipe
Ingredients
| Water | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), divided | |
| 3 large onions, cut into eighths | ||
| Cucumber | 1 Large, chopped | |
| 1/4 cup nonfat dry milk powder | ||
| All purpose flour | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Curry powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 1 tablespoon corn oil margarine | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
In a saucepan bring 1 cup water to a boil over high heat.
Add onions and cucumber; reduce heat and cover.
Simmer for 5 minutes.
In a small bowl combine dry milk powder, flour and curry powder.
Stir in 1/2 cup water gradually, blending well.
Into the onion mixture stir flour mixture gradually.
Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
Add margarine, salt and pepper.
