Ingredients

 2 1/2 pounds lean lamb shoulder, cut in 1 inch cubes
 Onions2 Medium, finely chopped
 2 apples, pared, cored and quartered
 Lemon juice1
 1 tablespoon tomato paste diluted in one cup of water
 Seedless raisins1/2 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

Lay half the onions on bottom.
Add meat, apples.
Moisten with lemon juice, tomato paste and water.
Add remaining onions.
Sprinkle with seasoning.
Close and bake.
Add raisins twenty minutes before cooking time is up.
