Curried Green Tomatoes Recipe
Ingredients
| Corn oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Onions-2 tablespoons (30 ml)-finely chopped | ||
| Brewer's yeast-1 teaspoon (5 ml) | ||
| Green tomatoes | 2 Cup (16 tbs), cubed (Curry-1 teaspoon (5 ml)) | |
Directions
MAKING
1. In a large pan, add the oil and heat well
2. Add the onions to the oil and cook the mixture till the onions turn translucent
3. Add the rest of the ingredients to the pan and stir this mixture over low heat till the tomatoes are crisp-tender. This should take about ten minutes
SERVING
4. Serve hot with steamed rice

Leftovers of this dish go well with curry and as an addition to vegetable soup.
