Curried Beef Recipe

Ingredients
1 pound beef tenderloin
3 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
2 medium potatoes, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
2 yellow onions, cut into wedges and separated
4 teaspoons curry powder,divided
1/3 cup water
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons satay sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons dry sherry
1 tablespoon Chinese chili sauce
1 teaspoon instant chicken bouillon granules
Steamed Rice optional
Directions
Cut beef across the grain into thin slices.
Heat 2 1/2 tablespoons of the oil in wok or large skillet over high heat.
Add potatoes and stir-fry until crisp-tender, about 5 minutes.
Add onions and 2 teaspoons of the curry powder; stir-fry 2 minutes.
Remove and set aside.
Heat remaining 1 tablespoon oil in wok over high heat.
Add beef slices and stir-fry until light brown, 3 to 4 minutes.
Return potato mixture to wok.
Combine remaining 2 teaspoons curry powder and remaining ingredients in small cup.
Pour into wok; cook and stir until liquid boils.
