Curried Avocado Dip Recipe
Ingredients
2 medium sized avocados
4 tablespoons lemon juice
2 slices bacon
3/4 teaspoon curry powder
1 clove garlic, minced or mashed
1 tablespoon minced chives
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Worcestershire
1/4 teaspoon Tabasco
1/2 teaspoon chili powder Salt to taste
Directions
Carefully cut the avocados in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
With a spoon remove the pulp, being sure to leave firm shells of two of the halves.
Sprinkle these shells with 1 tablespoon of the lemon juice.
Cook bacon until crisp, and chop into fine bits.
Mash avocado pulp, add bacon and all the remaining ingredients, including the remaining lemon juice; beat until smooth.
Heap the mixture into the 2 prepared shells; chill.
