1 Cup White Sugar
 
1 Cup Brown Sugar
 
1/4 Cup Oil
 
1 Cup Sour Milk
 
2 Tbs. Sour Cream
 
2 Eggs
 
1/4 Cup Currants, soaked in hot water and drained
 
2 1/2 Cups Flour
 
1 Tsp. Cinnamon
 
1 Tsp. Cloves
 
1/2 Tsp. Salt
 
1 Tsp. Soda
 
1 Tsp. Baking Powder
 
1/2 Cup Chopped Nuts

Directions

Sift all dry ingredients in bowl; add 2 eggs, 3/4 cup oil, 1 cup sour milk plus sour cream.
Mix until all dry ingredients are moist.
Add currants and nuts.
Bake in layer pans 35 minutes at 350 degrees.
Frost with favorite frosting.
Can be baked in a bundt pan.
