1/2 quantity risen sweet bread dough
1/3 cup currants
Directions
Work the currants into the dough by squeezing and kneading until evenly mixed.
Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces.
Roll into balls using the palm of one hand.
Do not overwork the dough; a little oil on the palm of the hand and on the working surface will help to give a smooth finish.
Place well apart on a greased baking sheet.
Cover and let rise for about 45 minutes in a warm place.
Bake toward the top of a moderately hot oven (375°F) for approximately 20 minutes.
