Currant Glazed Ham Loaf Recipe
Ingredients
| Ground pork | 1 pound | |
| Cooked ham | 1 pound | |
| 1 cup grated raw potato | ||
| Processed cheese | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| Onion | 1 Small, grated | |
| Egg | 1 | |
| Salt | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Thyme leaf | 1/2 Teaspoon, crumbled | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Glaze | ||
| Currant jelly | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Hot water | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Prepared mustard | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
1. Make meat loaf: Combine all ingredients in large bowl; mix lightly with fork; spoon into loaf pan, 9x5x3; invert into shallow pan; carefully remove loaf pan.
2. Make glaze: Melt jelly in hot water; add mustard; spread over top of loaf.
3. Bake in moderate oven (350°) for 1 hour or until meat is well done and top is a rich golden brown.
