Curled Pecan Wafers Recipe
This Curled Pecan Wafers is the perfect snack your kids will love at any time of the day. It takes no expertise or efforts, but when made this Curled Pecan Wafers looks so damn pretty and tasty, to say the least. Whip it up and see it for yourself!
Ingredients
1/4 cup shortening
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 tablespoons cake flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
Directions
Cream shortening, add sifted sugar gradually and then the unbeaten egg.
Beat well.
Add sifted dry ingredients and pecans.
Drop very small amounts of dough onto a heavily greased cookie sheet.
Spread very thin into a 2 inch square.
Bake in a slow oven (300°F.) 10 minutes.
Remove, cool I minute and curl around finger or wooden handle.
If they become too brittle return to oven for 1 minute.
Serve plain or fill with fillings.
