Classic Cumin Catfish With Citrus Avocado Salsa Recipe Video
Cumin Catfish with Orange & Avocado Salsa only requires a handful of easy to find ingredients and makes for the perfect meal that won't weigh you down.
Ingredients
·1 lb. catfish filets
·2 tbsp. cumin
·1 diced avocado
·2 diced oranges
·1/2 diced red onion
·1 clove minced garlic
·1/2 minced jalapeno
·juice from ½ a lime
·a little olive oil
·salt & pepper to taste
Directions
1) Combine garlic, jalapenos, red onions, oranges,
avocado and stir gently. Season with salt, pepper
and lime juice. Stir again and set aside.
2) While your pan is heating over a medium high heat,
season your catfish filets with salt, pepper and
cumin. Make sure your entire filet is lightly
covered with the cumin.
3) Add a little olive oil into your pan and begin to
cook your filets, about 4 minutes on each side.
4) Once fish is fully cooked, place on your serving
dish, top with a generous helping of the salsa and
enjoy!
