Easy Cumberland Sauce Recipe
I made this Cumberland Sauce last weekend when I was preparing the Baked Imperial chicken. You wont beleive the way this yummy sauce nhanced the flavor of the Chicken. This perfect Cumberland Sauce recipe magically transformed the dish!
Ingredients
| Red currant jelly | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 3/4 cup defrosted frozen orange juice concentrate, undiluted | ||
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Dry sherry | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Ground ginger | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Dry mustard | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Cayenne pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
Directions
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the jelly orange juice concentrate, lemon juice, sherry, water, ginger, mustard, and cayenne and cook, stirring occasionally, until smooth.
