Directions

GETTING READY
1) Peel cucumbers and make into 3-inch pieces.
2) Preheat oven at 400° F

MAKING
3) Boil salted water and cook cucumber for 10 minutes. Drain and dry.
4) Butter ovenproof dish and layer cucumber at the base.
5) Sprinkle third of the cheese. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper.
6) Layer finishing with cheese.
7) Dot with butter on top.
8) Place cucumber gratin in the center of oven and bake for 30 minutes.

SERVING
9) Serve immediately.
