Cubed Pork In Cream Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
1 tbsp (15 ml) oil
1 tbsp (15 ml) butter
1 1/2 lbs (675 g) pork, cubed
1/2 Cup (125 ml) white wine
1 Cup (250 ml) 15% cream
1/2 red onion, cut into 3 pieces
Salt and pepper
1/4 tsp (1 ml) nutmeg
2 tbsp fine breadcrumbs
Chopped parsley
Directions
– In a skillet, heat oil, melt butter and saute pork. Remove meat from skillet and keep warm.
– Deglaze skillet with white wine and reduce liquid by half. Add cream and red onion pieces, season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg and simmer over low heat, stirring constantly.
– Place pork in a serving dish; pour the cream sauce over it and sprinkle with parsley.
