Cuban Heros Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 soft (6-inch) sub rolls | ||
| Chipotle mayonnaise | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Swiss Cheese slice | 8 | |
| 1 pound sliced roast pork or leftover Cuban-Style Pork | ||
| Ham slice | 8 , boiled | |
| 8 bread-and-butter pickle sandwich slices | ||
| Potato chips and coleslaw, for serving | ||
Directions
1. Heat oven to 400°F or heat a sandwich press.
2. Split open sub rolls and spread with mayonnaise. Layer each sandwich with a slice of cheese, a layer of pork, 2 slices of ham, 1 pickle, remaining pork, and a slice of cheese. Close sandwiches and grill or bake until bread is toasted and filling is heated through, about 5 minutes. Serve immediately with potato chips and coleslaw on the side.
