Directions

MAKING
1. In a small screw-top jar, add the gum tragacanth and rose water and leave in a warm place for twenty four hours
2. Keep shaking the jar occasionally so that the ingredients are thoroughly dissolved and add more rose water if too thick
3. Make sure the primroses are fresh adn the stems are shortened to an inch long
4. Holding the flower by the stem and with a fine brush, paint both its sides with the liquid in a thin layer
5. Dip the painted flower in castor sugar and place on a wire tray, face downwards and allow to dry overnight

SERVING
6. Serve as appropriate
