Crystallized Fruit Dumplings Recipe
|Glutinous rice flour||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Sweet Rice)|
|Finely chopped dates||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Finely shredded crystallized fruits/Glace fruit||3 Tablespoon (Or Chopped)|
|Toasted sesame seeds||1 Tablespoon|
|Brown sugar||3 Tablespoon|
|Frying oil||2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Deep Frying)|
|Confectionery sugar||1 Tablespoon (For Sprinkling)|

Shape into a roll about 1 1/2 inches thick.
Slice rounds off the roll about 1/4 inch thick.
Mix together the dates, fruits, sesame seeds and sugar.
Place a little of the mixture in the center of each round of dough.
Wrap the dough around the filling to enclose it completely.
Heat the oil to 350° or until a cube of bread dropped into the oil instantly rises to the surface.
Fry the dumplings, a few at a time, until they are golden brown.
Drain on paper towels and serve hot, dredged with confectioners' sugar.
