Cry Baby Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
3/4 CUP sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup butter or Crisco
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1/4 cup molasses
1/2 cup milk or coffee
1/2 cup seedless raisins
1/2 cup nutmeats, chopped (pecans or walnuts)
Directions
Cream together sugar, egg and butter.
Sift flour, measure; then resift with soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and allspice.
Add to first mixture, alternately, with molasses and milk.
Add raisins and nuts.
Drop on greased cookie tin, and bake at 375° for 10-12 minutes.
