Crusty Roll Tempters Recipe

Ingredients

 6 crusty rolls
 Cooked ham1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 1 cup very finely shredded cabbage
 2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
 Green pepper1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 1/4 cup pimiento strips, well drained
 Salted peanuts1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Chopped onion2 Tablespoon, pickled
 Mayonnaise1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Salt3/4 Teaspoon
 Black pepper1/4 Teaspoon

Directions

Cut rolls lengthwise through center; scoop out insides to within 1/4 inch of crust.
Butter inside, if desired.
Set aside.
Mix the remaining ingredients thoroughly.
Fill the lower halves of the rolls generously with the ham mixture.
If desired, sliced pimiento stuffed olives may be layered in cavities before filling is added.
Place scooped-out upper section of rolls over filling, cut into halves, and serve
