Open 1 package (8 ounce) refrigerated crescent rolls; separate rolls.
Cut each triangular roll into 4 small triangles by cutting in half cross wise through middle; cut bottom half into 3 equal triangles.
Put a small, well-drained dollop of hot dog relish in center of each triangle.
Top with a miniature cocktail-size, fully cooked frank or wiener.
Wrap dough around 2/3 of frank and stick a long bamboo skewer through dough and frank, leaving one side of frank uncovered and ends of dough unskewered.
Fry until done and browned, about 2 minutes, in metal fondue pot 1/2 full of hot oil (350°F.) over direct, high heat.
Drain.
Cool slightly and eat.
