2 lb. halibut fillet
Salt and pepper
10 to 12 saltines
Directions
Melt 2 tablespoons butter in baking dish.
Sprinkle fillets with salt and pepper on both sides; arrange fillets in single layer in baking dish.
Melt remaining butter in small saucepan; break crackers into butter.
Stir broken saltines into butter thoroughly to make a paste.
Spread saltine paste over fillets.
