Ingredients
| Soy sauce | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salad oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), pressed | |
| 2 to 4 chicken legs with thighs attached (about 1/2 lb. each) | ||
| Wheat germ | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 tablespoons fine dry bread crumbs | ||
| 1 tablespoon each sesame seed and chopped parsley | ||
| 1/4 teaspoon each pepper and paprika | ||
Directions
Combine soy sauce, oil, and garlic.
Arrange chicken in a single layer in a shallow baking dish.
Pour soy mixture over chicken, turn chicken to coat all sides, and let stand for about 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, mix together wheat germ, bread crumbs, sesame seed, chopped parsley, pepper, and paprika.
Lift chicken from marinade, drain, then turn over in wheat germ mixture to evenly coat all sides; shake off excess.
Arrange coated chicken on a well-greased rimmed baking sheet.
Bake, uncovered, in a 350° oven for about 1 hour or until thigh meat near bone is no longer pink when slashed.
Remove to serving platter and garnish with parsley, if desired.
