Crustless Carrot Quiche Recipe
Crustless Carrot Quiche is one of my most popular quiche. I prepared the Crustless Carrot Quiche for brunch last week when my in laws came over and they loved it! Try this wonderful Crustless Carrot Quiche recipe for yourself.
Ingredients
| Carrot | 2 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| Eggs | 6 | |
| Light cream | 1 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), minced | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ginger | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Black pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| 1 1/4 c. grated "old" Cheddar cheese 300 mL | ||
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
Cook the grated carrot in boiling water for approximately 5 minutes. (You may do this step in the microwave.)
Drain and press out all liquid.
Beat together the eggs, cream, onion and spices.
Stir in the grated carrot and cheese.
Pour into a buttered 9" (23 cm) pie plate.
Bake approximately 35-45 minutes or until the quiche is set in the centre.
Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.
