Crunchy Quark Stuffed Tomatoes Recipe
It was for the party last week that I tried this Crunchy Quark Stuffed Tomatoes and believe me when I say that it was an instant hit. The flavors of quark, paprika and poppy seeds made this Crunchy Quark Stuffed Tomatoes taste heavenly!
Ingredients
24 cherry tomatoes
100 g/4 oz/1/2 cup quark
2 spring onions, finely chopped
1 celery stick, finely chopped
5 ml/1 tsp paprika
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Poppy seeds
Directions
Cut a slice off the rounded end of the tomatoes and scoop out the seeds.
Tip upside down on kitchen paper (paper towels) to drain.
Mix the quark with the spring onions and celery and season with paprika, salt and pepper.
Spoon the mixture into the tomatoes and dust each with poppy seeds.
Chill until ready to serve.
