Crunchy Sausage Rolls Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 sheets ready rolled puff pastry | ||
| 500g minced steak | ||
| Celery stick | 2 , finely chopped | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Tomato sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Cornflour | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Egg | 1 | |
Directions
Cut each sheet of pastry into four even strips both ways to give 16 squares from each sheet.
Combine mince with celery, Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce and cornflour, mix well.
Take tablespoons of mixture, shape into 5cm long sausages.
Place sausages diagonally across each piece of pastry.
Pinch opposite corners together over sausages.
Brush pastry with lightly beaten egg; place on lightly greased oven trays, bake in hot oven 20 minutes or until golden brown.
