Ingredients

 Pecans - 1 cup, coarsely chopped
 Light brown sugar2/3 Cup (16 tbs), firmly packed
 Butter - 3 tablespoons or margarine - 3 tablespoons, melted
 Whipped cream or dessert topping - as needed
 Pecan - as needed, halves, for garnish

Directions

MAKING
1. In a small bowl, mix together pecans and brown sugar.
2. Drizzle melted butter over the pecan mixture and stir until the mixture is moistened uniformly.

SERVING
3. Spread Crunchy Pecan Topping over cooled pumpkin pie.
4. In a broiler, place the pie at about 5 inches from heat and broil for just 1 to 2 minutes until pecan topping is bubbly.
Cool before serving or serve warm.
