Crunchy Nutty Cereal Recipe
Ingredients
| Wheat germ | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 4 cups regular rolled oats | ||
| Cornmeal | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 cups Grapenuts or All Bran | ||
| Cashews | 6 Ounce, coarsely chopped | |
| Sesame seeds | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Coconut | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 pkg shelled sunflower seeds | ||
| Honey | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dark brown sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/4 cup molasses or malt syrup | ||
| Vanilla | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 3/4 cup oil and margarine melted | ||
Directions
Mix the first eight ingredients in a bowl.
Measure remaining ingredients into a saucepan and heat until blended.
Stir into the dry mix with a fork.
Crumble mixture into 3 jelly-roll pans or shallow bake pans and bake at 275 to 300F.
Stir at 10 minute intervals until golden.
Cool.
When cold store in plastic bags or covered wide-mouthed jars
