Crunchy Fried Fillets Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 pound frozen perch or other fish fillets, thawed | ||
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| All purpose flour | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Egg | 1 , beaten | |
| Water | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Saltine crackers | 30 To taste, crushed | |
| Vegetable oil | ||
Directions
Sprinkle fillets with salt, and dredge in flour.
Combine egg and water, mixing well.
Dip floured fillets in egg mixture, and coat with cracker crumbs.
Fry in hot oil (360°) over medium heat until browned.
Drain
