Crunchy Croutons Recipe
Ingredients
| Garlic | 1 1/2 Teaspoon, crushed | |
| 3 cups French bread cubes | ||
| Olive oil cooking spray | ||
| 1 tablespoon grated nonfat or reduced-fat Parmesan cheese | ||
Directions
1. Rub the inside of a large bowl with the garlic. Place the bread cubes in the bowl, spray lightly with the cooking spray, and sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese. Toss the cubes to coat with the garlic and Parmesan.
2. Coat a large baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Arrange the bread cubes in a single layer on the sheet, and bake at 350°F for about 10 minutes, or until the croutons are lightly browned and crisp.
3. Cool the croutons to room temperature, and store in an airtight container until ready to use.
