Crunchy Butter Crumb Cake Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter | 6 Ounce | |
| White breadcrumbs | 8 Ounce | |
| 4 oz. Demerara sugar | ||
| 2 oz. nibbed almonds | ||
| 1 pt. frozen blackberry and apple puree, thawed | ||
| Whipped cream, for decoration | ||
| Few extra nibbed almonds, toasted, for decoration | ||
Directions
MAKING
1. Take a large frying pan and ,melt butter in it
2. To it, add the breadcrumbs and let them attain a brown colour
3. Remove rfrom the flame, add in the sugar and almonds, mixing well
4. In a glass serving dish, make alternate layers of crumbs and puree and finish with crumbs
SERVING
5. Top with whipped cream and toasted almonds before serving
