 6 medium-size tart apples (about 2 1/2 lbs. total), peeled, cored, and sliced
 Unbaked 10-inch pastry shell
 1 cup each sugar and graham cracker crumbs

 Ground cinnamon1/2 Teaspoon
 Butter/Margarine1/2 Cup (16 tbs), melted
 Whipping cream1 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

Arrange apples evenly in pastry shell.
Mix sugar, cracker crumbs, flour, walnuts, and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples.
Pour butter evenly over topping.
Bake in a 350° oven until apples are tender when pierced, about 1 hour.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
Whip cream and offer to spoon over pie.
