Crumb Crust Recipe

Ingredients
5 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 1/4 cups fine crumbs (vanilla wafers, graham crackers, gingersnaps, chocolate wafers)
1 tablespoon sugar
Directions
Place butter in 8- or 9-inch micro proof pie plate.
Cook on HI, 1 minute.
Blend in crumbs and sugar.
Set aside 2 tablespoons crumb mixture to sprinkle over top of pie, if desired.
Press crumb mixture firmly and evenly over bottom and sides of pie plate.
Cook on HI, 1 1/2 to 2 minutes.
Cool before filling.
Cook on HI, 1 minute.
Blend in crumbs and sugar.
Set aside 2 tablespoons crumb mixture to sprinkle over top of pie, if desired.
Press crumb mixture firmly and evenly over bottom and sides of pie plate.
Cook on HI, 1 1/2 to 2 minutes.
