Ingredients

 SmithField Ham - 1 whole (14 pound)
 Molasses1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 White Bread Crumbs - 2 cups

Directions

GETTING READY
1) In a large quantity of water soak the ham overnight
2) Using a brush, scrub the ham to remove the pepper coating

MAKING
3) Into a large pan, place the ham and cover with cold water
4) Bring the water to a simmering boil
5) Simmer the ham for 6 hours, turn it once it every 2 hours
6) Remove the ham from the water and allow to cool
7) Place in the refrigerator to cool thoroughly
8) Into a shallow roasting pan, place the meat with the rind and fat trimmed off
9) Score the meat across with a sharp knife
10) Brush the molasses all over the meat
11) Bake in the oven for 30minutes at 350 F
12) Take out the ham and baste the ham with remaining molasses and sprinkle the breadcrumbs
13) Bake for an additional 30minutes till the crumbs turn a golden brown

SERVING
14) Serve the ham into think slices with a carving slice and serve with vegetables
