Basic Crostini Recipe Video

A simple yet very versatile dish, crostini can be prepared ahead and stored in an air tight container for up to a week. These are great to have on hand for inpromtu entertaining - top them with ricotta or goats cheese and garnish with a slice of fresh basil and freshly ground black pepper, top with an olive or mushroom tapenade, with my favorite, finely diced roma tomatoes and garlic with some chopped fresh basil bound with a little olive oil - or skip the topping all together

Why is she wasting her time rubbing that garlic on the bread for a half a second..That is not going to do a thing to that bread..trust me.
