4 small yellow crookneck squash (about 1 pound)
 
2 tablespoons rich concentrated chicken stock
 
1/2 teaspoon crumbled dried basil
 
1/4 teaspoon each onion powder and garlic salt
 
freshly ground pepper

Directions

Trim ends from squash and cut in half lengthwise.
Place squash in a saucepan with stock, basil, onion powder, garlic salt, and pepper.
Cover and simmer 7 to 8 minutes, or until vegetables are crisp tender.
Contains about 20 calories per serving.
