Main IngredientBeef
Ingredients
3-4 lb corned beef brisket
4 cloves garlic (I love the flavor and taste of garlic, you could adjust the quantity depending on your love for the ingredient)
1 onion, chopped finely
2 cloves
1 bay leaf
1 cabbage (cut into 5-6 wedges of equal sizes)
3-4 tbsp of mustard paste
½ cup maple syrup
2-3 potatoes sliced into thin round pieces
Water – 1 cup or as required
Directions
Take a crockpot or slow cooker and place the onions and potatoes. Place the corned beef brisket over it and add in the cloves, garlic and the bay leaf. Add the water and cover and let cook on low heat for about an hour and a half. Add some more water if required and continue cooking for another 2 hours till the corned beef and vegetables are well-cooked in the juices. Add the cabbage, the maple syrup and mustard paste and let cook for another hour. Take out and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 15-20 minutes. Serve the corned beef with a generous helping of the vegetables and drizzle with the maple syrup.

Hi,
Great recipe but I had trouble finding two doves...the local butcher doesn't stock them but kindly got some in for me.
