Crock Pot Beef Roast with Carrots Potatoes and Onions Recipe Video

Any beef roast however, each cut of beef has it's own flavor. We prefer chuck roast or a rump roast. Any type potatoes will do and any size carrots are fine. Red onions are sweet whereas yellow or brown onions are not. Either will do. This can be done in a pot on the stove if it's cover is tight or in oven at 350 degrees for several hours. The lower the temperature the longer it must cook. The slower the cooking time the more tender the beef. Don't try to get it done quickly so this is good for a cold day to heat the house from the oven. I love my dutch oven which is black cast iron and more than 50 years old. They just don't wear out
