Crispy Onion Rings Recipe
Ingredients
| Spanish onions | 3 Medium | |
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
| All purpose flour | 1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs) | |
| Vegetable oil | 1 | |
| Parmesan cheese | 2 Tablespoon, grated | |
| Parsley flakes | 1 Tablespoon, dried | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic powder | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Beer | 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 2 , separated |
Directions
Peel onions, cut into 1/4-inch slices, and separate into rings.
Combine flour, Parmesan cheese, parsley flakes, salt, garlic powder, pepper, beer, 1 tablespoon oil, and egg yolks, beat well.
Beat egg whites (at room temperature) until stiff peaks form, fold into batter.
Dip onion rings into batter; fry in deep hot oil (375°) until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels.
