Crispy-Fried Rainbow Trout Recipe

Ingredients

 
5 rainbow trout, cleaned
 
1/4 c. evaporated milk
 
1 1/2 tsp. salt
 
Dash of pepper
 
1/2c. flour
 
1/4 c. yellow cornmeal
 
1 tsp. Paprika

Directions

Wash trout; dry well.
Blend milk, salt and pepper together.
Combine flour, cornmeal and paprika Dip trout into milk mixture; roll in flour mixture.
Fry in hot fat in skillet over medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes or until brown.
Turn carefully; fry for 4 to 5 minutes longer or until brown and fish flakes easily when tested with fork.
Drain on absorbent paper.
Arrange trout on heated serving platter; garnish with parsley, lemon slices and pimento strips.
