Crispy Chicken Bites Recipe
I tried this Crispy Chicken Bites last week and it was an instant hit among the kids at home. This bake and serve crispy chicken bites is quite a treat and is quite easy to prepare.
Ingredients
1 Pound Boned And Skinned Chicken Thighs Or Breasts
Dash Of Black Pepper
1 Egg, Beaten
1/4 Cup All-Purpose Flour
2 Tablespoons Milk
1 Teaspoon Dried Parsley
30 Whole Wheat Crackers, Finely Crushed (About 1 1/4 Cups Crumbs)
1/2 Teaspoon Poultry Seasoning
1/8 Teaspoon Salt
Directions
Rinse chicken, pat dry.
Cut chicken into 1-inch pieces.
In a plastic bag, combine flour, parsley, poultry seasoning, salt and pepper.
Add chicken pieces, a few at a time, to the seasoned flour mixture.
Close the bag and shake to coat the chicken pieces well.
In a small mixing bowl, combine egg and milk.
Place cracker crumbs in another small bowl.
Dip flour-coated chicken pieces into egg mixture, then roll chicken pieces in cracker crumbs.
Place coated chicken pieces in a single layer on a large, ungreased baking sheet.
Bake in a preheated 400-degree oven 10 to 12 minutes, or until tender.
Serve immediately.
