 Flour1 Cup (16 tbs)
 1/2aspoon salt
 Ground pepper1 To taste
 Butter/Margarine90 Gram
 Cornflakes2 Tablespoon, crushed
 1 eggyolk
 A little water, if needed
 Hard-boiled eggs3 , hardboiled (FILLING)
 1/2 cup grated hard cheese
 Gherkins2 , chopped (FILLING)
 Capers1 Teaspoon, chopped (FILLING)
 3 rashers bacon, cooked and crumbled
 Milk
 Extra grated cheese

Directions

Sift flour, salt and pepper together and rub in butter. Mix in cornflakes, then stir in egg yolk and a little water, if necessary, to make a firm dough. Roll out on a floured surface and cut with a 6cm biscuit cutter. Spoon filling on to the centres of half the rounds, brush edges with a little milk and top with remaining rounds, pressing edges well together. Brush tops with milk and sprinkle with a little extra grated cheese. Bake in a hot oven 200C (400F) 18-20 minutes. Makes about 12.
FILLING: Combine all ingredients and mix well.
