Crispy Baked Tofu Recipe

Ingredients
450g (1 lb) firm tofu
25-40g (1-1 1/2 oz) butter or margarine
2-3 tablespoons tamari
Nutritional yeast flakes for sprinkling
Directions
Preheat the oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas mark 5.
Slice the tofu into eight or 12 pieces.
Melt the butter or margarine in a pan, remove from the heat and add the tamari.
Place the tofu pieces on a baking sheet and brush with the tamari and butter or margarine mixture.
Sprinkle with the yeast flakes and bake in the oven for 20 minutes, or until the tofu is lightly roasted and crispy.
