Crispy Nut Squares Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup corn syrup
1 cup walnuts
2 cups commercial puffed rice
2 cups commercial corn flakes
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup caramel chips
Directions
Butter a baking pan.
In a large saucepan, bring to a boil peanut butter, brown sugar and corn syrup.
Boil 2 minutes.
Off heat, mix in nuts and cereal.
Spread mixture into roasting pan.
Set aside.
In a double boiler, melt chocolate and caramel chips.
Spread evenly over first mixture.
Refrigerate 20 minutes before cutting into squares.
