Crispy Honey Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 chicken breast frozen for 30 minutes and sliced very thinly | ||
| BATTER | ||
| Egg whites | 2 | |
| Oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Cornflour | 6 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper white | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| OTHER INGREDIENTS | ||
| 1-2 dry red chillies cut diagonally into 1" pieces | ||
| 1-2 green onions white part thickly sliced diagonally and greens cut into 1" long pieces | ||
| 1/2 tsp soya sauce | ||
| Tomato ketchup | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Honey | 6 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 2 tbsp cornflour dissolved in 14 cup water | ||
| Sesame seeds | 2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Mix all ingredients of the batter and put chicken in it.
Deep fry putting one piece at a time in the oil, so that they do not stick to each other.
Deep fry in 2 batches till light and crispy, keeping them in oil for about 4 minutes till cooked and crisp.
Keep aside.
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok.
Put red chillies and the whites of green onions.
Stir for a minute.
Add the soya sauce, tomato ketchup, honey, salt & mix well.
Add cornflour paste.
Add the chicken & 1 tsp sesame seeds & toss well to coat each piece of chicken evenly.
