Crisp-Fried Haddock Recipe
Ingredients
2 to 3 lb. haddock fillets
1 c. shortening
2 tbsp. salt
1/2 c. cornmeal
Directions
Cut fillets into serving pieces.
Heat shortening in skil- let over medium heat.
Mix salt and cornmeal; roll fish in cornmeal mixture.
Fry in hot shortening for 3 minutes or until delicately browned.
