Crisp Onion Waffles Recipe
Ingredients
| Pancake mix | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 2 Small, Well beaten | |
| Milk - 1 2/3 to 2 cups | ||
| Shortening or oil - 1/4 to 1/3 cup, melted | ||
| Onion soup mix | 2 Tablespoon, dehydrated | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1 Preheat the oven.
MAKING
2 Prepare the waffle batter as per the directions on the pancake mix package.
3 Stir in the onion soup mix.
4 Bake in the oven.
5 Cut the large waffles in quarters.
SERVING
6 Excellent as a fine base for creamed fish, chicken or dried beef.
TIP
If waffles are not crisp enough, add about 1/4 cup more milk to batter.
