Basic Crepes Recipe
Its surprising to know that you have not tried my Basic Crepes recipe yet. Basic Crepes goes perfectly as Breakfast. It is one French dish which will never fail to impress you or your guests. In case you try out this Basic Crepes, make it a point to get back with your feedback and comments .
Ingredients
1 cup (250 ml) flour
1 1/2 cups (375 ml) milk
2 eggs
1 tbsp (15 ml) melted butter
1/4 tsp (1 ml) salt
Directions
– In a bowl, mix all ingredients and refrigerate for 2 hours.
– In a lightly buttered skillet, pour 1/4 cup (60 ml) crepe mixture, spread evenly on skillet surface. Cook for 1 minute over medium heat. Turn crepe and cook on other side for 30 seconds.
– Garnish crepes with your choice of stuffing. Roll crepe or fold in half before serving.
N.B.: For sweet crepes, add 1 tbsp (15 ml) of honey to the batter.
